I went to donate my sweet sexy blood today and I got turned away because I'm too hot. Yes, I am officially too hot. I didn't think that was possible.

Well, today marks a special moment in my life - seeing a movie in a theater on my own. I've never done it before. I've talked to a lot of people about watching a movie on your own and it seems like I'm the only one that doesn't do it. So, I'm doing it now.
I probably could wait until I have a few more buddies here in DC. But, I've been looking forward to see this movie since the first time I saw the trailer. Besides, the people I do know have already seen it. And since I've only been here for about four days, I just don't have a plethora of peeps, yet. I thought maybe use it as a date activity. But, I'm pretty anti-movie-watching on a date (at least, during the first few dates). Maybe if the movie was a super awesome chick-flick then I'd think about it. But, the movie is "Inception." Perhaps it's a good movie to see on my own anyway since I don't want to be distracted by some sexy cougar babe putting her hand on my leg.My cousin Andrea, her husband Brett, and myself hung out this last weekend and it was an awesome time. We got a little food at the Cheesecake Factory and then we walked around this little park area in Edina called Centennial Lakes Park. I'm hoping that they eventually move toward the West Metro. Currently they live a million miles away in the East Metro. We don't get to hang out as much as we should.
I had my car in the shop for a few days so I was driving around my motorcycle (as seen above). Normally I don't ride it too much. Not sure why. I think I'm just getting older and more cautious, and let's be honest, motorcycles are more enjoyable when you aren't cautious. Anyway, one of the days I was driving it I guess I thought I had put the kickstand down when I actually hadn't. I found out that motorcycles are really heavy once they reach a certain angle. Lucky for me I was able to get out from under it so no personal harm done, except for a slightly twisted finger that was sore for a day. I laughed when I saw it laying on the ground because you just don't get to see a motorcycle in the horizontal position everyday (unless you're a paramedic). I tried to lift it back up, but gosh, it was heavy. Finally I remembered to use my legs and I squat pressed it up without trouble. There were a couple scratch marks on the fairing but nothing horrible. All-in-all it was a gental touch down.
Ate at a cool restaurant with some of my MN homies. Great pizza. Even better was catching up with the boys. What was the place called? Al's Psycho Kitchen? I can't remember, something strange. Lot's of single people seemed to be hanging out there. I also saw the girl with the dragon tattoo - but not the movie. Not a pretty sight.
